BTIES schools provide a broad range of courses to students of all ages and needs. Classes range from one on one private lessons to group lessons of up to 5 students. Lesson materials and training are provided.
We are looking for friendly, personable, professionally-minded candidates. Applicants must be a native English speaker who has a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or who has over 3 years of English teaching experience. Teaching experience with children and/or foreign students is preferable but not necessary.
An initial 18 month contract.

We also require teachers who are interested in part-time substitute work. If you are interested please contact us with your CV, the areas where you are available and the days/times you are available. You will be entered into our substitute registration system, we will contact you as soon as possible when we require a substitute. The rate of compensation is 13,200 yen per day. Your transportation fee will also be reimbursed. If your travel time to the school takes over 1 hour ( one-way ), you will be paid an additional 500 yen per round trip. Travel time is defined as the actual time spent on the train or bus. It does not include the time spent waiting at train stations or bus stops nor does it include the time it takes to walk to the school or station.
